CLUB NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS The club is
slowly going downhill financially. The club had to raise dues to $15.00
to keep the club going. We also are asking members to purchase a Five Week
Drawing ticket in lieu of a larger dues increase. If we do not get
enough ticket sales, the dues will have to go up dramatically in 2012.
If you have not purchased a Five-Week Drawing ticket, please ask the
bartender for one. Price is $10.00. NO SMOKING IN DINING ROOM - EFFECTIVE SEPT 11, 2008 - No Exceptions! SMOKING WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE BAR AREA ONLY!! New Membership applications will be
accepted by officers. The New Membership application fee will be
$25.00. The money will be refunded if the application is
rejected. New Member applicants MUST have two Life or Active members
sponsor them at the time of apply
All members (including
Life) must renew by February 27th. Members are requested to
purchase a “Five-Week” Drawing ticket. Prizes given out over 5 weeks. – Price
$10.00 If you
don't renew you will be dropped! No Excuses, renew in person or US
mail. Meat
Drawings will begin in September - 2nd Sunday of the month from September
until April if you want to book the
Downstairs Banquet Hall for parties, showers, meetings, you can leave a
message at 610-691-4140. . A $150.00 deposit is required for all
reservations. The $150.00 is the rental charge for 3 Hours. BINGO is every
Monday evening at 7:00 PM. From September until May. Come and support your
club and keep checking the website for upcoming events. The Board and Officers have
decided that the club will no longer sponsor athletic teams which include
little league, high school, and softball teams. All donations to all
organizations that we have donated in the past will stop in 2009. This
is due to a drop in business and lost revenue.
